If you start doing really well, you can hire a programmer to reprogram Blender to fit your specific needs as Blender is open-sourced and source code is free. I've had problems importing 3DS Max animations, I haven't used Maya, but everything's been okay with Blender for me. Fortunately, there are plenty of tutorials.
